Research Summary:
My research focus is on sugar upgrading to produce high-value chemicals (liquid fuels, polymers, pigment) via catalytic reaction routes and developing the economic biomass valorization process based on the experimental results by collaboration with Maravelias group (UW-Madison). My goal is to elucidate the optimized catalytic reaction pathway for economic process by understanding the fundamental knowledge such as reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and solvation effect.
